This course meets the requirements of OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogen Standard 1910.1030 by educating your associates about the dangers of bloodborne disease, routes of transmission, at risk tasks, the use of universal precautions, PPE, cleaning & decontamination, how to handle an exposure and post exposure procedures including medical follow-up. Approximately 2 hours in length. Suggested Audience: Emergency Responders, supervisors, any employees exposed to blood or potentially infectious material in the course of their work duties. This course primarily meets OSHA’s Fire Protection Standard 1910.157, but can apply to other instances where fire extinguishers are required. Associates are trained in the general principals and hazards of incipient stage fire fighting and the use of fire extinguishers. Approximately 2 hours in length. Suggested audience: employees authorized to use fire extinguishers in the workplace. Frequency: annually.
This course meets OSHA’s Powered Industrial Truck Standard 1910.178. The National Safety Council Coaching the Lift Truck Operator Course is the curriculum used to instruct and license industrial truck drivers.
